Creative Photography and 360º Virtual Reality Video
Mark Newsom never won an award for photography. In fact, he never entered a contest to win an award. Based in southest Missouri, Mark once owned a 1,400 square foot studio where is shot sessions consisting of everything from babies to Suicide Girls. With web design being his main bread and butter, he could be flexible in what kind of clientel he brought in. His headshot work company employees easily became their favorite social media profile pics.
Up and coming models would approach Mark to help with their portfolios, but those sessions often turned into creative works of art. Subjects tend to feel comfortable working with Mark right from the start, leaving more room for the imagination to work.
In 2016, Mark and his wife bought an RV and took to the road to explore the country. To date, travels have taken them to Texas, North Carolina, and Oklahoma. Since hitting the road and not having a formal studio, sessions are conducted on location, using both a combination of studio and natural lighting in order to provide superb light for the images. Each session is tailored to the needs of the individual and type of portraits and headshots. Mark enjoys working collaboratively with his subjects and offers direction according to the preference of the individual.
